Pati LaBelle is quite popular among the masses because of the several popular hits that she has given over the years. The artist will be touring throughout the Thanksgiving season and she has mentioned in several interviews that she is very grateful for the opportunity she has gotten to perform for her fans. This year is no different and she is looking forward to enjoying every single moment of her live shows.
Recently while talking to BET lifestyle she has mentioned that though she or any other family members and friends of hers has not been diagnosed with COVID-19 virus she has been living with type 2 diabetes for the last 25 years of her life. She came to know about that when she fainted on stage in Albany, NY. She was disturbed back then after hearing the news but then she realized that she had to make some necessary changes in her lifestyle.
She started making her own meals and started to eat healthily. Furthermore, she has told the process in which she learned how to cook diabetes-friendly dishes. She did not find it difficult to change the diet as she was determined and now it has become a part of her life as mentioned by the pop star in the interview. She also uses the platform to promote the Dexcom G6 CGM System which can be used by anyone to measure blood glucose levels and the recorded data will get stored in the preferred device of the user. Finally talking about the holiday menus she added, “I’ll have a spoonful. Always within moderation. I don’t deprive myself.”
